My yoga journey
My yoga journey began in 2017. I was in my early twenties, travelling the globe and soaking
up different cultures. From Ibiza to India to Thailand, I discovered so much about the
world and myself. This was when I fell in love with yoga.
Yoga brought my feet back to the earth while I hopped from hostel to hostel. Through yoga,
I found peace in the chaos of airports, train stations, and busy cities.
In 2019, I travelled to Australia and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with
BodyMindLife. I brought all that I learned back home to Scotland. I started teaching in gyms
across Ayrshire and eventually in the incredible Box Yoga Studio.
I began yoga to calm my mind and stay active during my travels. But my passion for the
practice grew! I was fascinated with the philosophy of yoga. And soon became interested in
the physical benefits it had to offer.
It was time to further my education and yoga practice. I trained in Vinyasa Sequencing and
Functional Yoga Anatomy with Steph Wall in Glasgow. I then completed a Level 3 diploma in
Gym Instructing and Personal Training.
My additional training inspired me to return to university. In 2022, I began studying a BSc
Honors Degree in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University.
